[Unity bugfix] 7dtd 8.x Gamecrash fixes

    Hello Survivors,

I made some bugfixes for access violation game crashes that occur inside 7DaysToDie.exe.
There is a small chance that they cause other errors.

The 64bit version patch fixes the error at NxCreateCoreSDK + 0xd3c1c. Only use this file if you installed the 64bit version.
    Here's what I modified inside the 64bit 7DaysToDie.exe :
    Code:
    93BE7C to 93BE8C = 90
    93BF0A to 93BF11 = 90
    93BFFE to 93C005 = 90
    93C01D to 93C024 = 90
    93C092 to 93C099 = 90
    93C190 to 93C197 = 90
    93C1A9 to 93C1B1 = 90
    93C23B to 93C243 = 90
The 32bit version patch fixes the error at AnimationEvent::Transfer<SafeBinaryRead> + 0x25385a. Only use this file if you installed the 32bit version.
I didn't find any bugs caused by this fix but, as I never ran into this error, it might still crash.
    Here's what I modified inside the 32bit 7DaysToDie.exe :
    Code:
    469371 - 8B 81 EC 00 00 00 85 C0 75 05 30 C0 C2 04 00 8B 81 F8 00 00 00 E9 DB 1F 06 00
    4CB360 - E9 0C E0 F9 FF 90
    4CB3A4 - 90 E9
Here are the patched 7DaysToDie.exe files :

Nice work DerPopo. I'll give these a try later. I'd +rep you but I need to spread some around first.

    EDIT:
Just tested the 64bit version and I can confirm the repeatable crash of walking into a Wood Pillar Point on the 64bit version which would cause the crash is fixed with the modified exe. Nicely done.

I've not yet experienced the 32bit crash, so I'd have a hard time checking that one. The 64bit one was quite repeatable though.

I gotta go to work in like 20 mins, so I can't try this out myself, but if you did truly stumble upon a possible fix for the 64-bit crash issues, that's fantastic.
I'll give it a try once other people determine if it works for them or not. And I have free time from not working. (man, these extra hours are killing me. Three weeks and only three days off.)

Just gave this thread a link the alpha 8.2 announcement thread. Hopefully this will help a lot of folks and give TFP the solutions they needed. Again, really nice work DerPopo.

+repped you on this, and I would again as this really is great work.

Interesting, even though I don't crash (neither my rented server nor my own client that is running windows 8) I'll try using this for a day or 2 see if there is any issues with them.
Edit: Scanned the 32 bit file with AVG nothing wrong as far as I can tell, though use at your own risk.

I hadn't experienced any crashes before Alpha 8.0. Since then random but routine crashes in SP Mode (Win 8.1). Installed your 32bit patch and after an hour have not experienced a single crash. A huge and sincere thank you for this.

I'm running Windows 8.1 (64bit) & was crashing about every 15 minutes. Just played for a little over an hour with the 64bit fix & it worked flawlessly! Thanks a lot DerPopo, you're awesome!

Stickied: Several others from steam (both running servers and playing clients) have confirmed that 64 bit is now much more stable as well as 32 bit after moving to this file.

I must say, AWESOME job derpopo, THANK YOU! You have most certainly went above and beyond and it's very appreciated
