Inspired by StompyNZ's Bandit Hangouts, I wanted to do an Oil Rig. The Full Prefab is 242x218 so it won't spawn in RWG. It will have to be broken down into sections. It sits in a huge lake, hence the size.

The Building Only WILL spawn in RWG.

I also did very little decoration! I built the building but did not do much in the way of contents. Someone else, if you feel like it, can use this as their own and decorate it as they see fit.

I will separate the building as its own prefab, in the Desert... kind of like a dried up Ocean or something. This WILL spawn in RGW.

Thought about it and probably won't work until they fix the decoration in water. Sorry for the edit. :p

I never thought of making one.

Would be nice to see more prefabs that are on/near water.

It's mostly steel and reinf concrete; feel free, but it's pretty over powered.

What ui is that?

...and glad it spawned right. Hopefully someone took the time to add some interior decorations. It's kinda bland. Sleepers and bandits will really bring it to life. :)

The UI is from ValMod, I only added our server name and the ValMod version info in the upper right corner. The UI itself is based on Sirillion's SMX and a bit beautified by Valmar :-P

Would it require client installs for the pngs or are they linked to a website?

The UI xml files needs to be also on client side, and you can decide if you want to point to local png files or to external hosted ones.

I had it set to point to local ones, and even though the translucent black overlay came through, the red health bar did not; it was kind of weird. Damn thing looks great though, but I'll wait for the pimps to get the stick out of their butts and push all modded files instead of the select ones they currently push. :)

put in luckys decorated one NICE. thou I did have a problem with getting to the living quarters with out a ladder up to it from the storage and entry platform. Putting one in also had to install ladder to get onto the platform.

but the deco was great and I like the building too going to try the water one too. and import just the building ontop of it for the deco..

if I use Coppi's mod (along with Allocs) to add prefabs to a non-modded game will it still stay non-modded?

I guess my real question is how can I add this to a game as a structure without adding any new xml files.

There is something wrong with how coppi imports prefabs (I don't recall what, and it may be fixed by now) so I would use stompys to import it.

No, that method would not make it modded.

coppis doesn't do tile entities i think it was, like traders. also doesn't do loot replacement blocks. also doesn't insert the prefab if the chunks arn't loaded whereas mine will insert the chunks it can, and if you use the co-ord insert you can repeat it and move around to load the chunks to get it all spawned. I've got a few other options as well.

On the other side mine doesn't have an undo function yet, and the client chunk reload needs a bit to finish it.

Yours threw errors when importing guppyville (but it's an admittedly large prefab). Hal's would hang the server but would import after I re-logged in. Coppi's wouldn't do it at all either.

those errors are telling you some chunks didnt load, but if you move to them to load them then you run the command again.

I'll be adding some chunk observers that spawn in to load chunks in a later version so you can load any size prefab.
