Solved the issue for me.

Whenever you might experience this issue again, try to ping each other (not yourself) using the console of your OS to make sure it's not an issue with one of your ISPs.

The label of the arrows are wrong, that's correct.

To change ammo type, you have to right click the weapon and switch ammo there. No issues for me with unmodded client in 12.3
