    Tobii eye tracking

I noticed 7 days to die was supported for Tobii eye tracking, with aim at gaze, clean UI and extended view.

I thought I would give it a try (I am running the latest Alpha) and I just get a string of red errors in the console.
Not sure if you are aware of this at all, and the fact it seems completely broken?

Any chance that you could read the Sticky thread and follow the instructions?

I posted this on the main new release thread but posting here too and will update with each new release until its fixed.

Summary: Tobii eyetracking does not work at all, it throws strings of error texts in the console. It does this on any game play, multiplayer or single player. I have restarted a quick game to show a log, as you can't even close the error console, you have to control/alt/delete to exit the game.
    Version: A17 b233
    Platform: PC
    OS/Version: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Game mode, mp host/mp client/sp /client on dedi (RWG or NAV): Any game mode (all of them)

Did you wipe old saves? (yes/No) yes
Did you start a new game? (Yes/No) yes
Did you validate your files? (Yes/No) yes
Are you using any mods? (yes/No) no
EAC on or off ? off

    Status: NEW

Bug Description: Tobii eye tracking is broken

Reproduce steps: (With Tobii turned off I get no errors.)
With Tobii on there are multiple errors.

    Actual result:
You can't do anything, not even move in game, you can't even close the error console, you actually have to control/alt/delete to exit the game.
    Expected result:
To play the game using Tobii eye tracking

The screenshot is just a console with a spamming list of errors. You can see all the errors in the log file.

This has to be one of the worst implementations of the technology I've seen yet. It doesn't "aim" as Tobii does in every other game, but wobbles the camera around, having no effect on the aim besides making it impossible to hit anything unless you hold your eyes still while you line up your cross hair, which is also a one-way ticket to motion-sickville. Worse yet, there is no in-game option to disable the feature, so I have to unplug my eye-tracker, causing all sorts of other problems when I plug it back in later.

There needs to be a way to disable this "feature" in game. Besides that, the devs need to re-evaluate how they want the eye-tracker to affect the game. As it is right now, having the Eye-tracker installed makes 7 Days to Die unplayable.

Might be a Unity thing. I noticed this occurring in Empyrion yesterday.

I was actually considering buying one of those once the price became more reasonable... considering the problems you get with certain games (or at least this one), looks like I'll be holding off a little longer.
