Occasional mouse lag in inventory and workstations

Summary: Occasional mouse lag in inventory and workstations
    Version: A18 b143
    Platform: PC
    OS/Version: Windows 10
Game mode: Single Player and Co-op

Did you wipe old saves? yes
Did you start a new game? yes
Did you validate your files? yes
Are you using any mods? no

    Status: NEW

    Bug Description:
Sometimes, when in inventory screen or operating a chest or workstation, I get what I'd call mouse lag. Example: say I am moving Iron into the Forge. I click the Iron and it can take 5 seconds for it to appear on my cursor. I move to Forge and re-click and it can take 5 seconds for it to drop into the Forge. This does not happen often, but when it occurs, it will always occur for that particular workstation until I reload the game.

    Reproduce steps:

No reliable way to reproduce. Occurs at random. All players in my group reporting the same thing.

I get this off and on. It is usually when I have large stacks of stuff, for example moving a stack of 1000 resources to/from a mixer or forge. It seems to come and go with no other pattern that I've noticed.

Happens to me after prolonged session, like 3-4 hours in. It gets progressively worse and eventually I have to restart the game. Then everything is fine until it starts again some hours later. Rinse and repeat.

EDiT: It seems that if it happens for one container, it happens for all, including workstations, chests, vehicles.

I can confirm this also happens to me.

I would recommend when you see first signs (slight lag while in your inventory) you close the game and start it again because it will get worse, to the point where the game just starts freezing up while moving stuff around in the inventory. I have no idea what causes this though... might be a memory leak or something?

same. I do use UI mods to have larger bags, and it does come and go.

    affect bags, boxes, toolbelt.
