Getting kicked every few minutes from my hosted MP server. Other players are not experiencing this. In server logs I get this message at the time of being kicked. Steam ID/name removed.

Expected result: (what you expect to occur)

I expect to be able to play without being kicked off every few minutes. With this behavior I cannot accomplish anything in game.

Flush the DNS stack on both client and server. Works wonders for fixing this issue.

Hey I did the DNS on my side, but I don't know how to do it for the server. I still was booted for the auth reason.

Hello. I am having the same sort of issue. I keep crashing on load in and the output is saying " failed to auth". I have tried deleting the game and steam completely and re downloading and everything else I can find. Nitrado is basically no help. I see here it says to delete my DNS stack but I have no idea what that is. Can someone please help me?

Having the same error. I am both the admin and the client, running a dedicated server. I am constantly getting kicked out, as seen in the logs. EAC is disabled on both client and server.

Could you set one up without every mod known to man installed? LOL!!! You've got errors with one of them.

2019-12-04T01:28:26 9.865 ERR [MODS] Failed loading mod from Ragsy_Vehicles_First_Person_View
2019-12-04T01:28:26 9.865 EXC Unknown node "Text" found while parsing ModInfo (line 8)
UnexpectedElementException: Unknown node "Text" found while parsing ModInfo (line 8)

The crash is also due to a video card issue. Make sure you have the latest drivers and try turning your video settings down. The 960 looks like it's struggling a little bit.

    d3d11: failed to create buffer (target 0x1 mode 0 size 1728) [0x887A0005]

A18.2 will be going stable later today with a few more video options you can try as well. Good luck!

I have the latest drivers installed. The game runs fine at medium setting with post processing options turned off, getting 60 fps easily without lag. But even at low the EAC/Steam ID verification kick happens, as well as the crash, even though the server does not run with EAC on. I'm not sure which one happens first, the crash or the kick.

I'm seeing the same error AS the OP's being reported in a bunch of places as well, here and on the steam forums. A quick Google search with the terms '[Steamworks.NET] Kick player for invalid login:' will reveal many unresolved bug reports.

I highly doubt it's due to the vehicle mod, but I will delete it.

Other players on the server have not reported this issue, however, and they do not get kicked by Steamworks. We all use the same mods without any issues in a 200 hours + game until this week when the kicking started to happen more frequently to me, which used to happen only rarely.

Thanks for your help. Will report with a new thread once the patch comes out after doing some testing.

Edit: According to this post, this error may be a misdirection and might simply happen when there is an unrelated crash.

Correct. Your video card crash (directX crash) causes the "kick" from the server. -Schwanz9000

Summary: Can only play for a few minutes, then it crashes (quits). Doesn't matter what I'm doing in the game - it just quits.

Here's the output log before I even join a game - just viewing the public server list. Plenty of errors.

Error: Assertion Failed: Using broadcast address on Mac OS X will fail, need to enumerate network interfaces

It's a Mac, and I can't find any info on this error. Do you have multiple network adapters? Maybe the client is attempting to use the wrong one.
