Version 11.2 b4 Invisible block bug.

While repairing my defenses and removing gore blocks I noticed there was a spike missing along with the block behind it.
Upon closer inspection the spike seemed to have turned into an invisible block.
I can stand on top of it without it damaging me.
If I try to destroy it I mine the block behind it.
Restarting or Reinstalling the game has no effect.
The Reinforced Concrete block behind it has turned partially invisible but is still destroyable, replacing it has no effect.
    Here are some screenshots:

    Mined the block below it.

    Can't place blocks there.

Standing on top of block. (getting no damage, so it isn't a spike anymore)

yep, just had the same thing happen, thought it was an issue with newly placed spikes but seems it also applies to upgraded spikes that get damaged.

    Very annoying !

Also had the same issue. Room mate comes in says the base is hammered after I logged out, he was in another part of the map. We start repairing the base and find a square at the bottom where the spikes are that cannot accept a replacement log spike. cleared the area out. removed sections of the wall and from underneath the square (Hoping it would collapse). Jumping up on top of the square and walking around has a metallic sound. Like the pictures above, used armor siding on the square above the spike. At ground level, can see right into the interior of the base.

    thoof

    I Found a fix.
Place a bucket of water next or on top of the invisible block.
Water flows over it and the block will dissapear.
Clear the water out of the area and place new block.

    No problem.
It's still annoying, but now you can at least remove the invisible block.

My advice? Build in a lake or river until they fix it. Water auto-destroys gore blocks and prevents this from happening, win/win. I have a base suspended on 4 pillars, with the entire bottom filled with spikes. Never had to destroy a gore block and never had a spike disappear. If anyone wants pics lemme know. I even use a plain wood door. I can hop from one block to the door frame and never had any zombies touch the area around the floor of my base.

I replaced my trunkPineTip block in the xml files with a recoded one and have not been able to replicate the issue with disappearing spikes. From what I have read on the forum, if a zombie touches an unupgraded block (and possibly if they destroy them all the way back down and then touch them) the block will become invisible. If you look at my old posts you can probably find the new coding I am using. So far everyone who has implemented it has not seen the issue repeat itself.

Can you show us the code?
