Do not think this is supposed to happen

About 100+ days into a multiplayer server unmodded in the middle of the city we live in this happened i highly doubt this is supposed to happen. A huge column of Rock with dirt and trees just showed up mid city out of nowhere.

Then i stumbled on this confused house and i have found a few of these but i assume this is just a biome boarder rendering issue.

Cut off houses are quite "common" but I hope they fix it.

That other bug looks like a bad chunk, could be because of several reasons. Memory/CPU issue, disk issue, loading an old world in A12 etc.

Yeah a bad chunk i feel is clear, but the Server is run in a virtual machine and the memory is ok so is cpu this i know for sure disk issue could be possible, but it happened on a server restart. So the question is, Is it a bug? or just a side effect of chunks we have to deal with like Minecraft? I mean this isn't exactly programmed in java so i can't imagine it should suffer from the same sorts of chunk issues that plague minecraft and never were fixable. I have faith in the devs for this game since i been playing pre steam. Thanks for the input shelter appreciate it.

Happens when the city stops paying the gardeners.

If you can, always do a manual saveworld before shutdown.
I had a chuck resetting once, after that I always do the above.
