    A13 Fireplace Embers

    This is an updated version of my previous fire for the fireplace. It adds the same heat that you would get from a campfire, but without the heat map increase.

    Very nice! It can be replaced with a machine model that turns into a working heater!!

    Thanks. I'll be releasing my glass blocks soon as well, just as soon as I get the placement of the candle flame fixed. a13 broke it and now it appears a block underneath the actual block.

    Does this work? Just tried it and didn't get the warmed by fire buff from <property name="ActiveRadiusEffects" value="+heatSource(3)"/>.

    I assumed that would only work for campfire/forge class as they are activated rather than on all the time.

    Looks nice; are you aware of the impending emberpile evil?

    And by impending I mean "hopefully not impending because it was fixed (if it was fix-able)".

    That odd h0tr0d, I had a ring of them around a base in a12.5 without issues. We're talking a one-city-block ring with one of these placed every other block.

    OK, I updated the code. Pretty much have to use campfire to get it to work like I wanted, so now you also have to add fuel to make it function. Did not add code for it increasing the heat map, as that is rather counter-productive.

    NOTE: if you are hosting this from a dedi server, your users will need to have the custom xui.xml in their Data/Config folder until TFP fixes it so that the file is pushed from the server.

    UPDATE

    This is NOT working in a13.8. The mod in xui.xml gives a nullref for anyone connecting to the server. I'll be looking into it later, but I've been fighting a multitude of issues for about 48 hours now so I'm gunna take a break.
