    Calipers

I know it has been mentioned here before but I have to VENT!

    Finding Calipers is ridiculously hard!

I have 2 working stiff shops close by that I looted several times.

I have lumberjacks up the butt NO CALIPERS........

Come on let us Kraft them then!

I generally head straight for a town and search the working stiff, If I don't find one there I head out in search of the next town and next working stiff. I also check every gas station along the way as they all have 1 working stiff crate in them. so usually by about day 4 I have at least 1 caliper.

Here i thought they made them easier to find. I found like 3 before day 7.

I think they made them a lot easier to get A15.

Yes, you also get them from cardboard boxes.(garages)

If you are lumberjack hunting... try to find a trader in the snow biome. Then set up a forge house to make screamers come. This way as you kill the zombies, you can sell the loot.... you can even "cheese" it and stand in the trader station killing zombies.... since they cant break the block (Part of the reason i think the infinite health there is stupid`)

Steel arrowheads require calipers as do bullet casings.

I'm on day 27 still no calipers - playing Navezgane, so there's only really 1 working stiff to talk of even though I searched the crappy one in Perishton with it's measly 3 crates lol

I buy my casings from two traders and mostly use my firearms for emergencies. This game I focus a lot of points into the shotgun skill and perks as paper seems easier to find than casings.

OK, day 36 and I believe it was one of the hardhat guys I pulled off calipers from.

It was in the last load of loot I dropped off and he was the only special guy left in the morning so I'm pretty sure hardhat guys drop calipers.

Time to dust off the 44 magnum. "Boom baby!"

I'm on day 20 I think in a SP RWG game, normal loot and respawn etc. As is typical, I didn't find my first calipers until around day 14, but in the six days since then I have found 3 more!

It is a major find, so I can see why it is quite rare, but as usual with RNGesus, sometimes you win the lotto early doors, sometimes you just have to wait and play to that style. It's nice to be forced to use the bow for a while, something I have definitely been doing much more in A15.

In our current world, we found 3x die set before finally finding calipers on day 20. Usually we find them in the first or second working stiffs we loot... this time it took a while. I suppose I should have been checking the vendors for one of those 5000 duke calipers.

Is the die set even used for anything?

I think that scavenger matters also. I always power level it asap. pumping points into it.
