    Hey MM long time, you have no idea how happy I am with the alarm, going to raise the creep factor at night for sure.

    Here is my question for you. I miss the other two snow zombies. Added some nice variety. Any chances we can see them return now that UMAs will be lessened a bit? Would help with making the snow area more terrifying i think. The Lumberjack spoke to me the other night and he said he misses his family! The new military zombie looks amazing.

    Materials Filter on HUD

    Hi MM,
    Electricity is a great feature and will bring a deep gameplay, thanks for that!


    Q: Each update adds new blocks and it's awesome! But sometimes it's hard to find one without writing into the text filter. Sadly it breaks a bit immersion in the game.
    So do you think it is possible to integrate a materials filter like that?

    Hey MM. I know you are an artist and i have a little request you might like(View Image rmb for bigger pic):



    The problem here is when you want to cascade a Facade of a fancy building (this case high-scraper) there isn't really any beautiful glass blocks/panes. They all look bad and they look bad when you are inside and looking through them. Especially when reflecting light- you cant see nothing through!

    Im hoping you have noticed this as well and maybe you have a solution to design a nice glass block/pane. Im sure your skills in this matter is on spot!

    hey MM very much enjoying the game right now
    ok here is my question with us being able to change the look of blocks will we be able to change the colors of our clothes as well? like taking the old usual purple overalls and giving them a camo or even an old fashioned brown.

    P.S. im also writing a crossover story of this game with TF2 just cause there isnt enough stories online with this game.

    Hey MadMole,

    Love the game, my girlfriend (a complete non-gamer) and I have put in over 150 hours. Just when we think we are getting bored the lastest alpha comes out and sucks us right back in!

    Wanted to ask a quick question about guns. In a few of your Q&A videos youv'e said Fallout is a big inspiration for the team, have you guys discussed adding weapon mods to the game? Right now getting even a low quality sniper rifle and calipers pretty much means combat progression is over. Would love to see extended magazines/silencers/and alternate scopes (crosshair, red dot, ACOG) for all the weapons. This would also fix the issue of the AK's bad iron sights.

    Thanks for making this awesome game.

    Madmole---Cant wait to try out electricity..looks cool....still think blocks should be prewired and then be able to add the generator, switches and lights,,would be easier then running wires all over the place, but they do look cool when they work correctly ..I want to see the finished product though.

    My question:
    Just wondering if you guys ever got around to making the Land claim blocks, able to picked up by the person who placed it instead of having to break it first?
    ..also is that possible to do with the workstations as well? Or just make it so that you need to use the wrench to dismantle them before picking up with a shorter duration of hitpoints. Just to make it faster.

    Hey Madmole, loving Alpha 15 and the new vids are awesome, thank you to the whole team the game is just a blast to play. Rented a server and got my g/f, a couple buddies and my nephew playing, we all love it!

    My question is, I've seen mention of a compound bow before and was wondering, are you planning on doing bow progression? An example being the wooden bow we have now, to reinforced/forged iron to a final badass compound bow with forged steel on the workbench or maybe even a bow press we have to craft or find. Perhaps even the crossbow having a higher tech version as well.

    I love that you let us know what's going on with the game I'm always looking forward to hearing new news. Thanks Madmole!

    I just wanted to know if there is going to be an update that when you repair a block it repairs it back to the same block? For example when you repair a shingle wedge block it puts a wood frame block there instead, same with upgrading shingle blocks. This also happens when repairing fireplaces.

    Will these blocks be upgradable and keep the same blocks?

    Greetings!

    Any thoughts on adding additional "mood" elements to the game? By this I mean items such as music player / record player (especially now with electricity coming in), Christmas/festival tree with lights, and so forth to allow building and customization. While every survival would initially depend heavily on fortifications, food, and such basics, for longer term survival psychological items would be needed to keep the survivors sane! Not to mention it would allow for a deeper engagement into the "lifestyle" of surviving this zombie apocalypse.

    Moving Objects

    Hey Joel!Your game is total revolution,i'm with you guys since alpha 8 and totally love it!And here one thing i thought you would add in the game,when you crafting some objects like night stand or storage you can put it in the wrong place and then you forced to destroy it and craft a new one to put it right,maybe you could add a new thing like moving not too heavy objects to the place you want it to be.Thank you!

    Hey Jake from State Farm, I love this masterpiece you guys are creating, it's like playing a whole new game after every alpha update. It makes me want to support the game more than just buying my copy on Steam when it's on sale, which brings me to my question. Where can I go to donate to your righteous cause of saving the masses from their boring pimpless lives?

    If you are reading this part, then why isn't Roland deleting the extra useless crap?

    Utilities and items

    With the whole electricity thing coming.

    Will we get to see new gear n items such as Headlamps (An alternative instead of the big mining helmet, but with a light similar to the ones of a regular flashlight) and electrical weapons (such as electrical knives that has a high stun rate, these weapons would require either a perk or schematic)

    Headlamp would maybe require the following items to craft: Headlight, 3x leather, 2x electrical components, (goggles maybe?), rechargeable battery, 4x scrap plastic.
    Either this or it would only be obtainable at the trader.

    After watching the new video demonstrating pressure plates i wondered what other trigger blocks you have in store? A plate + alarm is only good for a small block area. How about ability to setup a perimeter fence of some kind or motion sensors with wider range. Also when alarm is triggered it should stay on until turned off or have different settings with logic options or timers.

    PS. Small cheeky off subject to video but search function in containers?
