    Favorite Melee Weapon?

Maybe not which one is more effective (though that is certainly welcome) but which do you enjoy using the most? Any funny stories to share?

Mine is the sledge, followed by the fire axe. Busting the heads of a zombie horde in a 1-2-3-4 fashion is just...satisfying. I sound like a psycho for saying that, I know, lol.

    My quarterstaff or my kukri.

    Oh, you mean in game?

The machete, because it looks just like a kukri, and that's just one of the most amazing blades ever made.

Gotta go with sledge. It just feels like you can crush anything.

I just cant get into the sledge very much it seems to clunky to me....but i agree with you ric walker the bone and hunting knifes are fun as well as the machete...would be nice to see more varity of blades like the kukri, a katana, maybe a spear or double edge item like a battle axe. How about the swallow from chrono cross that would be freaking awesome!

Oh I have one of them, super old (grandads I think) but has a a fine pointed filigree design on it, really nice but like yours it's a bit weathered now.

Spiked club is my fav, now if only I had better aim instead of panicking all the time...

Yeah, it's one of my favorite weapons and tools in real life and in games. Very handy for chopping through thick bush, busting ice up in winter, and even opening bottles and cans.

Huh, time to stop keeping this as an heirloom!

Well, if it's from your grandfather, you may want to keep it as an heirloom and get a new one for all that. Was he stationed (or visited) in the Philippines? There was a whole regiment of soldiers who were issued kukri as their weapon if they couldn't pass marksmanship, but officers were given more decorative ones as well. At least, that's what I have heard.
