    Iodine still in snow biomes?

    Is Iodine still found in the snow biomes, if so what does it look like?

    Yes it is and it looks like asphalt sort of (maybe exactly like asphalt lol but that's the comparison that leaps to mind).

    Is it normally hard to find, ive used about 5 iron pickaxes trying to find it.

    Not usually, just go down 5-15 blocks and start digging.
    Don't try at bedrock, it is more of a midway to bedrock placement of the ores.
